Gucci nominated for Best Visual Design

Gucci’s sleek and easy to navigate Web site has been dutifully recognized. Gucci.com has been nominated for a prestigious Webby Award in the category of Best Visual Design - Function. The Italian brand is the only luxury fashion house to be nominated in any category this year. The Webby Awards are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and are often described as “the Oscars of the Internet.” Gucci is in good company, nominated alongside the likes of Flickr, the premier online photo community, Adidas Y-3, and 10061, a Web site from Timberland. Winners will be announced on June 5th in New York City.
